Welcome to Withly ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Withly mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Withly is a closed community ecosystem. To use the App, you must register using a valid, verifiable university email address (e.g., @ung.edu). By registering, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and that you are a currently enrolled student or authorized user of the affiliated institution. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Withly is designed for peer-to-peer connection and academic support. IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. The "Withly Companion" AI and peer huddles do not provide therapeutic or psychological services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or are having thoughts of self-harm, please call 911, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or use the "Quick Help" resources within the App to contact campus authorities immediately.
Withly allows users to post text, images, and other content ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content. To maintain a safe environment, you agree NOT to post content that:
Zero Tolerance Policy & Moderation: We employ a strict moderation system. Content is proactively scanned by artificial intelligence for harmful language. Furthermore, we utilize a community moderation system. If a piece of User Content receives three (3) independent peer reports, it will be automatically and immediately removed from the network pending administrative review. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who violate these rules, without prior notice.
You interact with other users at your own risk. Withly provides tools to block and report users. If you encounter a user violating these Terms, you must use the in-app reporting tools. Blocking a user will prevent them from messaging you and hide their content from your feed.
Your privacy is paramount. Please refer to our Privacy Policy Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data, including how we handle anonymized macro-statistics to improve campus well-being.
The App, including its original content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content), are owned by Withly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the App. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Withly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or interactions with other users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
